Lots of bugs

A good idea and layout, but the program is still full of bugs; it crashes unexpectedly, it occasionally changes the cash flow balance of today, its not obvious how to delete single entries (not repeating). Hope these bugs can be fixed.

The most effective Financial App in the store.

-- Updated Review - Feb 4, 2012 I hope the developer is swimming in money from this App. Its not as design heavy as many other budget apps, but budgets simply dont work. Its intuitive, straight forward and designed to be effective, not sexy. Cashflow is King. This app has got my finances back on track in 6 short months, consumer debts almost paid off and Im on my way to building a healthy Emergency Fund, all thanks to this App. Its the only App that would have a serious affect my life if it were to disappear! Keep up the good work. Tim --- Original Review - First Version So many financial apps neglect cash flow, which really is the basis of any overall savings/get out of debt strategy. This app replaced my clunky strenuous excel sheet in minutes. How do I use it? I enter all the big bills and transfers, income and expenses for my household to see how much I have left for food, entertainment, etc. This allows me to look at the big picture for the next 4 months, something Mint and other budget apps dont do well. My only request for the next version is a way for my wife to have access to this, she is without an iPhone/iPad. Perhaps an export to google docs or csv to email her? Even a export to PDF would work good, just view access elsewhere!

Could be better

Useful to plan and predict future account balance.. Could improve features such as total monthly debit / credit in recurrent payments. Bold / non bold for credits and debits in "forecast".. App user interface could improve. No "help" or FAQ or how to use info available in the app. -----—————----- App calculations totally bizarre if you travel to a different time zone. This is a vital flaw that must be corrected.

Almost perfect ****

This is what a cash flow forecasting is all about, a must have for someone who needs to see future financial status. Wish that you can select multiple accounts when you do forecasting.

Really!? Lowering rating to 1!

New review: what a mess, I bought this thinking I could rely on it! Cant even get an upgrade right! Also still a very cumbersome tracking mechanism. Calling the money spent on this a write-off and going back to my reliable spreadsheet. Old review: Its good so far, exactly what I want. I hope it doesnt disappoint me and make me miscalculate my balance forecast. I had other apps that disappointed me and made me create/use my own spreadsheet. Requests: 1- Please make Forecast and Graph remember which accounts I selected the next time I open. 2- Make Graph show some in between key dates. 3- Make disabling/enabling and item in Forecast show an icon in addition to gray color. 4- Rearranging icons doesnt work (iOS 7) would like forecast to be first to show when app opens.

Best CashFlow Progrem

Ive been looking for a program to micro manage my cash for years. I eventually ended up creating spreadsheets, but they have to be manually updated weekly. This software is so user friendly and the added re-occurrence features make it practically automatic once you set up your accounts. You wont get the simple, on the go information with any large, complicated, expensive program. If you want to reduce your spending and see how things like your mortgage will look in he future buy this. Andrew

Good App with forecast

The App its good and quite simple to use, useful for a personal budget, the only big issue I see is that the (italian) translation made the application quite unusable, it would be nice to be able to change the language back to english just to be sure what You are really doing.

Use this app monthly

Very good app. Helps me project my cash flow.

Gone?

Ive used the app for several years. Its good but is slow with ios 10. The last update was in 2014. Attempted to contact the developer, but the support email went nowhere. Look for developer that will support his/her work.

Almost there

This, overall, is a great app to help you manage your expenses. It is exactly what I was looking for. You are able to budget, by adding future expenses. You can then modify the expenses to match what they actually were once they have taken place. Those that dont change are already there so it is less work than tracking budget and actuals. It does need a few enhancements to make it complete. 1. I would like to be able to have more control of the order of transactions within a date (I want my credits first). Sometimes it looks as if Im short when I really wont be. 2. I would like to be able to categorize expenses and then have a monthly report that shows the categories down the side and the days across the top, with balances, so I can see everything in one page. If I had those 2 things I would give this app 5 stars.

Darn near perfect

Update: On August 6 I updated my review with a suggestion to add a feature to sync information between devices. Three days later, on August 9, Dropbox sync support was supported. That makes this app almost perfect for people who want to budget in a forecasted cash flow mode. Should be a top 50 financial app. ----- Original Review Below ------ I have been looking for an app that can give me a forecast for my various accounts over time and this works very well. The override function is nice. It lets you put in budgets or approximations for repeating bills and then override the next payment once you know the actual bill without messing up your future forecast. Great for things like utility bills that vary. This is a great tool for me to motivate myself to control discretional spending by looking at the impact of "holding the line" over time.

This is *almost* exactly what I wanted to make

This app is almost exactly what I wanted to make. While I bought it and am very happy with it, having a popup calendar interface to edit in would make it nearly perfect in my eyes. Itd also let the user see day-to-day account balance. Very nice app! Thank you!

App to Predict/Plan Cashflow: Graphs, Syncs and Generates PDF Reports

Very nice easy to use app to predict and plan cashflow. -Supports Multiple Accounts -Add - Re-occuring debits, credits and transfers -Portrait and Landscape views -Graphs -Syncs with Dropbox if you have it on multiple devices -E-mail PDF reports.

Exactly what Ive been waiting for

This App, is so simple and easy to use on my iPad. Its not encumbered with a bunch of distractions and unnecessary aesthetics that dont actually help me manage my money. It finally allowed me to retire my spreadsheet and makes discussing my finances much easier with the PDF feature. The multiple accounts feature is perfect for managing the cash flow of savings, individual, joint and other accounts all the same time. I believe the following enhancements will make the app more effective and user friendly. 1. Expense and Revenue Categories. Within the item Name and Description section of both Recurring and One Time transactions, I would like to be able to select from a predefined and/or a customizable list of consumer categories i.e. Entertainment, Groceries, Retail etc. 2. Filters for Recurring transactions. With a growing list of Recurring transactions for multiple accounts it becomes increasingly difficult to quantify whats going in and coming out and from what accounts, at a glance. Being able to easily filter i.e. Income, Mortgage/Rent, Automobile Loan Payments, Education and what accounts they are connected to would be very helpful. Even simply being able to filter between Credits and Debits would help a lot. 3. Totals. Under the Balances section, Id like the ability to see the total Credit and Debit amounts on a monthly basis. After entering your Recurring and One Time Credits/Debits, theres currently not a place to easily see the totals for that particular month. It would be perfect in the Today/Minimum/Maximum balances section of the app. Keep up the great work...This is a Top Financial App for sure!!

Exactly what I need

I just wanted something to forecast future balance, not something to help with budget tracking or analyzing. Thats exactly what this does. So, once regularly occurring transactions are entered, I can see, for instance, if the balance goes negative if I make a large purchase. App is very stable. I havent messed with Cloud, but emailing PDF works fine. Many thanks.

Overall Forecasting is great

The forecasting works great w/a minor bug. After modifying a one time transaction several times. The app crashed. Upon re-entry the transaction was completely removed caused the forecast to be incorrect. Some awesome items to include would be tags or indicators for: Scheduled, Paid, Balanced, etc...

Nearly Perfect!

I dont normally write reviews, but this is a solid app and does what it says. One thing I would ask for is the addition of monthly totals for recurring transactions. It would be really helpful. Also, a little more clarity on the graph would be nice (instead of taking you to forecast tab you can select within graph to have a total pop up). Just suggestions. Highly recommend!

Reconcile

This APP would be perfect if I could reconcile transactions.

So unique and so helpful!!

I have been looking for something that helps me plan cash transfers and this app is phenomenal. It has streamlined my budgeting and helped me anticipate irregular payments and debits. Very user friendly, great visuals. For future updates, it might be nice to have a way to touch the graph and expand or collapse the timeline instead of scrolling down through a years worth of transactions to see the full graph. Otherwise, really great app.

Still just too buggy

I tried to make this app work, oh how I tried - this is exactly what I needed to finally retire my spreadsheets. Loaded everything up, got it matching to my spreadsheets, perfect - VERY easy to use and figure out. Unfortunately, it just crashes too much. It appears that it cant handle many changes to recurring transactions, so I wiped and started over. My issue was on weekly day care - it was higher in the summer and over holidays. So instead I entered each time period as its own recurring transaction, which seemed to work, but I would have to re-enter it every year. Theres a lot of other bugs that need to be addressed before I try this again, but it has promise. U til then, I have found another app thats meeting my cash flow needs.
